So, who still needs Vietnam or SPECACT?

They're both on sale today on Steam (as well as BC2).

In the interest of anniversaries (my 11 year w/ my wife is 6 days away and eGO is 5) I will gladly buy one or the other for the first three people to clearly indicate interest in this thread. You must be specific as to whether you're after SPECACT or Vietnam and you must also friend me on Steam before the end of the day today. If your Steam name isn't obvious as to who you are here please indicate that in your response as well so I know who the friend request is coming from. My name is the same in Steam as it is in the forums and I should be easy to find. I will make the purchases before the deal is over tomorrow at 10 am PST, if you've responded here but I haven't heard from you yet on Steam when I go to buy, you're SOL.

False. If you want the steam version of Vietnam your BC2 copy MUST be from Steam.

So, Steam is letting me gift SPECACT:

I don't know if this is because no one on my friends list is eligible for it due to already having it or not having the Steam version of BC2 or some other crazy reason. I've got a support ticket in to Steam. If it's a problem with Steam I expect they will honor the price when they get around to getting back to me in a couple days or so. I suspect it's far more likely that no one on my friends list is eligible for it, but we'll see.

I want to repeat what Short stated earlier in this thread. Gifting and purchasing of steam SPECACT or Vietnam will NOT work unless the person intended has a steam copy of BC2. It's frustrating and in my opinion ridiculous, but that's the way it is folks.

Awesome, Darth. Glad you've found the best game eGO has to offer! If you haven't already, I highly recommend you take a quick admin class to get your O setup in BC2.
