Rumor is pretty much confirmed: Windows 8 will play Xbox 360 games. Good or Bad?

I think you somewhat answered your own question. They'll probably make you buy the expensive adapter to connect (kinect ) the controller to the computer.

Seems like a good way to start charging people to play online games that arent MMORPGs.. just instead of blatantly doing it they're saying well this is an xbox game so we're going to charge you to play it online on your comp..

You know, they don't actually say 'You can put your 360 disc in a PC and play them with Win 8' - which is kinda what it sounded like when I first read it :/

Windows Live will be built into Win 8. More likely scenario: you can access the Live marketplace and purchase DL games from there and play them on your PC. Still neat, but not quite the same as rushing out and buying a game from Walmart on Day1 and playing it on your PC.
