I been listening to OFWGKTA recently they have great bets and
good lyrics and i highly recommend them if your into underground
 
If you're into Deltron 3030, then give Dr. Octagon's album Dr. Octagonecologyst a whirl.

Gotta love Del and his projects. I also love Danger Doom, anything Danger Mouse touches turns out pretty awesome.

Odd Future is amazing.. though I'm not sure you would consider them "underground" anymore. They are exploding.
 
im not that big a fan of odd future

i have downloaded alot of their albums and the only one of that crew im really feelin is frank ocean,i love that guys music

as for earl and tyler the creator,i could take them or leave them,i listened to all their songs to give them a chance but cant say im too impressed

frank ocean will definately blow up more then the rest of them and will bcome a big mainstream artist as big as chris brown i think. actually him and chris brown are apparently beefin

I haven't listened to underground rap or hip hop in a while though so there may be some I forgot.

EDIT: How could I forget Jedi Mind Tricks? Silly me.

Agreed, Tyler the Creator's Goblin was a pretty big let down.

I like some of Tyler The Creator's stuff. A lot of the stuff mentioned in this thread is pretty cool.
I doubt you guys will like him, but whatever, he isn't that big yet, so I thought I'd post him. He has so pretty good covers.

I agree that Goblin was a let down, I think he was trying too hard to impress the bigs in the rap industry with it. Also he's only 20 years old, you can't expect him to be at Biggie or early Jay-Z's level just yet. I do think his first album is pure gold, my favorite album so far out of all the OF albums.

I'd take Earl over all of them though, he's got the most potential in my opinion.
 
I can't believe you guys actually like that OFWGKTA crap, that stuff is so terrible ugh they all look like crack heads. I was just listening to some of their stuff almost puked.
 
Tyler, The Creator is horrible just like most underground rap. They copy everyones style. Hopsin, SwizZz, and Tech N9ne are dope though.

I was going to say Tech N9ne, but he is definitely not underground anymore lol.
I just really like Tyler The Creator's beats that's going on in the background. & I like Yonkers by him, but I don't listen to him much :P
 
Aesop Rock is super dank.
Mac Miller is moving mountains.
Curren$y is so doin it old school.
J. Cole is definitely jiggy wit it.
Cannibal Ox spits out lines like it's no bodies business.
Atmosphere is wack as that cause he went mainstream.
Eminem's Infinite album is probably the best underground album still to this day.
He spits so hard to show you that he can rhyme like it's no problem, and you still know to this day he can freestyle better then anyone else out there.
