Any1 using AMD Phenom quads w/ DoD:S?

Oh, your rig will fail hard in the processor area, Windows XP sucks hard with the Quad-core, vista is designed to utilize quad-core more efficiently then XP

Got my new rig goin today......98 to 125 fps is so much freakin fun!!! WOOOOT!! Now I just wish I could get the new mouse dialled in :/

i was using quad core but i decided it's terrible to play with hacks because it get's sicking, really quick!

my opinion about quad core is awsome but it takes too much fun out of the idea of making people suffer!

i have heard that the 9600 are a cheap verios release for more public to buy and don't met the 8800's in performance guys so i would say spend the money on the 8800's if you are going to

I heard good things about the AMD Phenom. You can go wrong with either setup. I'm running XP right now, I'm hearing some negative things regarding Vista and some of the newer games.

XP won't recognize all 4GB of RAM (one advantage of Vista over XP)

Just thought i'd clear up your statement on XP vs. Vista.... XP64 will use all 4 GB of your ram, same with any Vista that is 64 bit. Its only the 32 bit versions that will not support all 4 GB of ram.

how do you get your hands on XP 64 bit? will my Adobe Photoshop for XP still work on it?

Finally got my new mouse, Razer Diamondback dialled in and I couldn't be happier. It took some time but now that both axis are adjusted correctly it simply blows away my old Microsoft optical that I swore I'd never change heheh.

This new rig is wickid for dod!!
