Bad Company 2 Server Connect Issue

Just here recently I have been getting more and more issues with connecting to servers and it saying that the game has lost connection to server please check network connection.

Anyone have a fix for this? My internet is up and working and I am on wired not wireless. I have been able to play the game as of the past 2 days just recently it has been acting up.

Took a screenshot of the error message even though most of you know what it says already.

Well, since nobody else has chimed in, all I can suggest is make sure your punkbuster is fully updated, and reset your router. Then yell at it some. Usually works for me.

I,d do a speed check on my isp and see if there was any trouble. Several times they will kick you to a lower speed and if you don't complain they just save money on your service.

I haven't had any problems lately, but when I do get that error, it's because I'm rubberbanding and having ping issues on my ISP's end.

Even more likely is the thought that it might just be a hiccup in EA's servers. That's the common message that you get when their servers are down.

Please let us know if this is still ongoing as I have a few fixes that we can work on in the event that it is not a temporary issue with EA.

Ya I reset router, computer, and made sure game was up to date and it works now for some reason . Now all I gotta do is get better I'm horrible.

I would say that comes with time but I still suck.

Another reason sometimes is because of firewall issues.
I'd have problems at times because of my firewall.
I'd see every server ping as 999 and it would just time me out, not letting me join a game.

you could try turning off windows firewall or resetting your modem..

Ya it is working now. I will be moving soon enough don't need to get my connection all setup where I'm at now anyways.

My disconnects have been more numerous lately too and I'm not using BC2 via steam. Just seem to be random drops maybe 1 or 2 a week. I get disconnected from EA then can get right back in. No problems on my end I think they're just sabotaging my skills.
