technically EA didnt buy the domain, the owner of the domain had turned the website into an anti MW3 site that was attracting tons of attention, and from that (there is no real answer yet) supposedly activision lawyers had the site shut down, and then the owner decided to make the domain a redirect to the bf3 site as a way of getting back at activision. But the owner hasnt confirmed anything, nor has EA said anything about buying the domain
 
Wow I laughed so hard at this! In your face activision thats what you get for milking the COD series for money you greedy people. Never listen to the players and the only thing they hear is the cash rolling in :( good thing BF3 is going to own MW3 gameplay and hopefully sales too :)!
 
By the time the courts get around to issuing an injunction, Battlefield 3 would have been launched.
