Lol if you haven't noticed i've done a couple of BR's lately and to tell you the truth it was a lot harder than i thought xD I'm not that tech savy so i thought i should help others who are too lazy to look up the know how!
Well first of all when you spot a hacker, the first thing you should do is NOT get an admin! lol Reason being you want to get evidence first! SO:
1) Go into spec right away!
2) open console with the ~ key (doesnt work? go to option> Keyboard> advance key> click enable developers console
3) Type "status" in the console this will list the steam id of every player in the game
4) You HAVE to record a demo! Spec the hacker and in console type "record "put the name of the dem. file which is usually the name." When you are done type "stop" in the console. Congratulations you just learned how to take a demo
now your next step is to go to the BR part of the CSS division forum!
Post a new thread with the heading as the name o.o i think lol
and fill it with the data for the following
Name: ?
Steam ID: STEAM_0:1:22042511
Server: Dust Two
Date/Time: July 10, 2011 around the time span of 10:00~11:00 A.M.
Admins Present: No admins present
Reason: Aimbotting
after that you send eGO an email with the link to the forum page you just posted and also send the demo with the email (make sure they know its you)! Send it to [email protected]
Now to find the dem. file in your CSS folder
My computer> Local disk C> Program files (or if its there already there Steam)> Steam> Steam Apps> (your steam name mine is MoMoMooshi)> counter-strikesource> cstrike
and ur dem. is in the cstrike folder
Now send your email with the attach dem. file and BAM your done!
BY THE WAY if you ever want to view a demo before sending it press "shift + f2" and that will open up the demo player
