i just bought BFBC2 and i unlocked the engineer repair gadget, how can i use it in game? , i just have my primary, pistol and a RPG. No repair gadget seen! Thanks in advancE!

Its the select #4 for the engineer's kit and use it with a left click of the mouse.

I don't know whats the problem if it didn't appear, but try joining a Regular Mode server and see if it appears in the HUD.

Walk up to a friendly tank and use it to repair.

Walk up to an enemy tank and use it and you'll be surprised how much damage it does. Never do this on the back or front of the tank though, you'll be roadkill.

Yeah always repair from the side if possible - there's nothing worse than getting run over by a teammate.

Oh, I usually play on Normal mode, so I was referring to when you're "repairing" an enemy tank.

A lot of people don't realise how effective it is...

Yeah usually you can do enough damage before they realize what is going on that one rocket will take them out.

To answer the original poster's question when in game just press 4 and you'll pull out the socket wrench.

I absolutely love it since it doesn't have a "BOOM" effect on the tank user and before they know it, their tank hp is down to 0.
