So I have been playing on this LED 22' Vizio TV and I just don't think it is meant to be playing games on. My resolutions are like 1600X1920 or something huge when I play games otherwise it won't fill up the entire scree correctly.

Should I change monitors or keep playing on what I got. My video card is newer not top of the line but decent.

This is the tv / monitor I am playing on. Hooks straight up HDMI.

Your resolution should be set to 1920x1080 to scale 1:1 with the display. You shouldn't really have any issues with that configuration.

If your gpu can't push 1920x1080 you could drop it down to 1280x720 and keep the scale 16:9 aspect ratio (should fill the screen properly), but it may seem blurry.

Sounds like your screen may be scaled incorrectly to correct for overscan. TVs often overscan by default and disabling it from within the TV's settings so that it doesn't will make the picture scale correctly. Scaling the screen from the computer, say from NCP or CCC will alter your resolution to something wonky that most games will not support. Once you know it's not overscanning set your resolution to 1920x1080 and you should be golden.

Agreed with what forty2stakes said. Most TVs now have 1920x1080 native resolution, so if your GPU can handle it, setting it to 1920x1080 would be ideal.

Ya I was planning on just getting a monitor and not use this tv as one. I will look into those settings thanks!
