I saw the trailer @ E3. I'm not even going to bother with the game. I had the same reaction out of Crysis 2. Bleh.

I think it looks really good. I didnt really care for the first farcry single player, but the multiplayer was awesome. The 2nd had a great single-player and crappy multiplayer, I'm hoping with this one they will make a good game overall.

I'm looking very forward to this, but the points popping up is stupid when you kill people....Call of duty anyone?

I don't believe they released why you get points, but you also get money from looting the body. Money buys different items. I'm going to guess that the points go towards unlocking different items in the game. Depending on how you kill people you might get different amount of points. It's not really stupid, it's just another way to help progress the game. Though I'm also going to guess you get said points for other things, not just killing. Since this isn't a game JUST about killing. So you'd probably get X amount of points for other things as well. Points per kill originated before CoD as well

far cry 1 was amazing pure and simple. i still own that game, and yes i still play it once in awhile.
far cry 2 was decent. i wish it was more of a sequel to 1 but its still a great game as a stand alone ootb shooter. the graphics are intense and i like the gameplay, even if its extremely repetitive.
far cry 3 looks more so like 2. graphics seem pretty great. im liking the new options of maneuvers you can seemingly do. overall im looking forward to seeing and hearing more about this game
