If you lane with a dps with a stun or a support with cc he has amazing early game harass and fixes his squishiness somewhat I run flat HP quints on him so it helps alot

And he doesn't even have that strong of an early/mid game against most characters these days. He pales in comparison to the likes of Brand and Annie. He is best when against ranged carries but the current EU style of carry + support bot makes him somewhat pointless.

At least I have heard talk of Riot completely reworking HSS. It has been the main reason Pantheon has fluctuated from overpowered to useless so often.

Agreed he really requires someone to back him in lane, if your duo queing he can do decent otherwise he needs to be fed to do well. However that being said a fed panth is and unstoppable force.

this is happening to a number of champions, which somewhat sucks to see. now its like every single game is the same thing and its becoming pretty boring. always the same champions, always the same setups etc
