So I'm tired of looking to buy an unusual and pay them with paypal/buds and all that hassle <-- I'm lazy. So I plan to buy 100$ worth of keys and open 40 crates in an attempt to find an unusual. It might sound impossible but you never know. Should I spend 100$ and try to find an unusual or should I go out and buy an unusual for 100$.

Put your thoughts below and vote on TOP!

PS: Wrong thread title, I meant to put 40 crates. lol

If you do open 1 of the 40 crates... and it was an unusual... then you have 39 crates of goodness then you have to yourself ;D.

your spending 100 dollars on keys.
for a hat.
and theres only a 1% chance of getting said hat.

doit

The question is, why would you consider paying real money for pixels, coincidentally paying real money for hats is an actionable offense, go figure.

You can get more of a chance trying to find an unusual with crates then having someone sell it to you.

I can understand a few dollars here and there to open a crate, but spending 100+ dollars that could be spent on other things is crazy. Just sayin.

Yeah I'm gonna agree with Legend. I choose option three: Just play and have fun don't spend any money.

Also I helped you out and fixed the thread title so it says 40 crates.

Both options are pretty insane. I'd rather buy 100 items in a dollar store or something more fun. Pre-order a game, buy some clothes, buy a cheap bike to make bad stunt videos and put them on Youtube.

Yeah where's the "holy crap you could buy a bunch of games with that and you are buying unusual hats" button?

I'm going to assume you aren't interested in the point of view I (and it seems a few other posters) have -- pixels are worthless, its cosmetic, blah blah blah.

Given the two options, I think I'd throw the dice on this one. Get some keys. But don't spend all $100 at once -- if you do, without a doubt your unusual will be within the first 4 crates lol.

Go big. $100 will only get you an "ok" unusual. Open 40 and try to get a really awesome unusual. Who knows... you might get one worth $1000.

Between those 2 options, definitely buy the keys just to avoid any trouble.
