Sting like a wasp

I couldnt find a correct place to put this topic.. so its here if thats ok..

Basically I forget my username... and apparently If I loose my username theres no way of myself retrieving it on this website.. the only apparent thing I can retrieve is my password .. but thats not what I forgot.. so I had to make a brand new account for this forum to tell you this problem im having with retrieving my username.. As I have been blocked on this website im geussing for unsucsefull logins I was unable to get onto this site at all for a few months....
 
.... look up a post that you made before and see what your name was. Otherwise, no, the users on the backend are listed by name, unless if you happen to fill out all the extra info but even so youde have to ask someone with access to paroose thousands of names.
 
Most of the time when you lose a password, they automatically send you an e-mail that contains both the password AND the username. This is only if you click on the "forgot my password" link below where you sign in. This is from personal experience, but it should be the same on every forum.
 
I cant get them to send my password as it asks for my username... and my username is different to the name that everyone sees on my posts so doing a search on my existing posts wont help.
 
If you're using the same steam id you can check it up on the stats and maybe you'll get something. Just a wild guess. I don't know when the stats were last reset so there's no telling how well this would work.

EDIT: Go to the HLStatsX page, click on players in the DoD section. Next, go to search, and type in just something random (i.e. Brought to you by the Letter H). When it comes up as a blank search, make sure it looks like this:

Search for: [your steam id here]
In: [Player Unique IDs]
Game: [Day of Defeat: Source]

Click "Find Now" and you should get your old name, I hope. Unless the HLStatsX site has been reset since you last visited, then you're just out of luck.

my server game name is different to my username on this forum. Thanks for the idea anyway.. It could have worked
 
This is getting extremly frustrating now, I was blocked from getting on the site for ages after trying to log in with -=Wasp=-.......... Can I please have a forum admin help me out now?
