One thing I noticed already with Battlelog is the inability to select my BC2 name.

I got an email invitation from them, I don't even have any veteran status, only BF game i have ever owned was BF BC2, I don't think veteran status matters, I took several screen shots and fraps'd some in game footage for you guys, I will upload them when the alpha is closed, right now it's against the ToS to share anything since the alpha is active, once they shut alpha down it should be fine.

veteran status is not the deciding factor, but the higher your vet status is the better your chances of getting in. its not impossible to get in if you dont have vet status as you have shown, but your chances are a lot smaller

With out breaking the NDA if you can all ready run BC2 there is no need to upgrade at all.
