Most Powerful Comic Book Character

So I was volunteering down at the library and began shelving comics books which I then had a self-debate on who is the most powerful hero/villain/neutral comic book character ever made.

So far, I had these down:

Marvel - Sentry, Jean Grey (Phoenix)/Emma Frost
DC - The Lanterns (Green, Blue, Yellow, Red, etc.)
Dark Horse - Seance from the Umbrella Academy
Others - The Plutonian and Max Daring from Irredeemable and Incorruptible.

Post who you guys think is considered the strongest one of them all
 
I remember there was some kind of power/rank guide out there for DC and Marvel.

I think some kind of demi god is the most powerful. It can't be killed and junk like that. Only way it stops is it gets bored and stops on its own or some junk like that.
 
Galactus?

He is pretty much an indestructible force of nature that can only be stalled.
 
Galactus would be the strongest comic book character in Marvel, but on a smaller scale it would have to be Phoenix, Gambit, and Dormammu

But the strongest Marvel character... is JUBILEE (I kid, I kid.)

Apocalypse from Marvel? He died. Wouldn't consider that "all-powerful"

EDIT: Also, Hell yes on Deadpool and a no-no on Jubilee

Are we talking "power" as in physical strength and abilities, or "power" of the soul of the character, how they handle adversity, etc? If the later, I'd make an argument for Rick Grimes from The Walking Dead.

Or would it be both...?
 
I'm pretty sure its Dr. Mcninja, he told Death (not me) that he wasnt really dead and came back to life

He is a comic book character (in the manga sense)

For Galactus however, if anybody read the Marvel Zombies series, they would know that Galactus is actually killable. He seems to be just another gigantic humanoid lifeform, organs and all
 
In a fight Lobo kills everything. The only people hes never beaten are people that writing have kept him from doing so.
