It's definitely easier to remember, and will probably work in our favor (i.e. easier for pubs to recall the url because it's a .com).

I've accidentally typed www.edgegamers.org and it redirects me to the new one instantly
But I'll remember to type it correctly now.

I believe it was a legal dispute a long time ago, with a guy. And for us to use the edgegamers.org we had to have ads for his company or something. It's been so long since I heard about that. :s Bleh.
