Technical problem with avatars?

There seems to be problems with avatars? (I wonder if this is where I post this thread...) Anyways, I was unable to link an avatar from a website, or use one that is on my computer. I've verified the file paths, and even used pictures that were within 125x125 dimensions and under 35.0 Kb. Some assistance please.
 
It's because of the new domain. The avatar path in the admin control panel needs updating.

Or something along those lines, at least.
 
Thank god i'm not the only one with this problem. Yeah. same thing. It gives me, "unable to move/copy file." I've never seen an error like this before, so can we have a bug report?
 
Leadership is aware about the avatar issue. This is being worked on, as it's related to the move to the new website domain. Give us some time and it'll be fixed, or instructions on how to fix it will be given out.

I can change my sig, but not my avatar. I haven't tried a profile picture. Bleh. I just made a new avatar and I can't use it :crying:
 
i have changed my avatar 3 time sense i've been in EdgeGamers....oddly enough that equates to about once a year.....

Since switch to the new domain there has been a snag when you try to change your avatar. I usually change my avatar every time I make a new sig. Suffice to say I haven't done either since 08/08/10 and when I tried to upload my new avatar, I got the error stated in the first post in the thread. I'd imagine it does it for everyone.
Apparently it can give you the same error for sig changes and profile pictures. Though I've changed my sig about 3 hours ago..
But as Snipeye said, Leadership is aware and are working on it. Kinda wish it would be sooooon.

I've changed my Avatar probably 20 times.. and I've been here for a 2 years now. Sig probably 30ish times.
 
Wish I had located this thread before trying to change my avatar today :(

Now I am avatarless *sniffle*

Hope it gets fixed soon :)
 
Ive just heard the issue is fixed? Does someone want to try it to verify?
