Nintendo 3DS dropping in price to $169.99. People who paid $249.99 get 20 free games

Price drop takes effect August 12, 2011.

The 20 free games are not 3DS games, but games from the Nintendo eShop.

I decided to stick with my DS at the $249.99 price, but for $169.99 I might give it a try.

Yay, 20 free NES & GBA games.

Hey, there are a LOT of good NES and GBA games.

I'm still gonna wait for the eventual remodel of the 3ds.

I want to get a 3DS just so I can play the Ocarina of Time on the go. I play it all the time at home with my emulator when I get bored.

Someone has said that Costco has already reduced the price of the 3DS to the new $169.99 price point: http://i.imgur.com/Q8gOM.jpg

As far as the 20 free games...not that big a deal to me; at this point, I already have most of the NES & GBA games I want; although, it would be nice to have them via digital copy (I don't think the 3DS plays the GBA cartridges?)
