I'll keep this short and straight-to-the-point. If you were selected for the BF3 Alpha Trial, you were forced to agree to EA's non-disclosure agreement. This essentially states that you are not supposed to discuss, reproduce, share, distribute, etc any materials/thoughts about the game. The Alpha-Trial is eyes only. Many people have not been part of an Alpha/Beta before and seem to be viewing this as a chance to play the game early and brag about it/share it with everyone else..

Alphas and Betas are for the game developers to test their game on many different system setups on a large scale. This is done for bug reporting and tweaking to get a stable release for the game. As such, you are not entitled to share what you see/do in the game with others. Consider it "for your eyes only".

I am bringing this up due to the large number of threads appearing regarding opinions, ways to alter the game, screenshots, etc of the BF3 AT. Please understand that this is against the agreement you are legally bound to and to prevent you from facing the possibility of having your game account shut down or worse (however unlikely it may be), eGO will not allow for breaches of the NDA to occur on our forums. Please keep this information to yourself for the good of everyone.

Many thanks,

People should read the texts before click "NEXT" or "I AGREE"

Agreed, and in fact if you are in the alpha and have read the NDA (I actually did) the only direct thing you are allowed to say is that you are a part of the alpha. Im sure a small opinion here or there is fine as long as you dont divulge any actual information about whats in the game.

There's another clan's forums that I frequent and they are posting screenshots, and openly talking about it. Not very smart.

People who break NDAs bother me. I remember being on the closed testing for Resistance 2, and there was a volunteer team ravaging the internet of all leakers. It was pretty funny. I heard those who leaked information about the game had their PSNs banned from network access.

I am bumping this thread due to the importance of its message. If I find ANY thread with ANY mention of alpha (I'm not stupid and neither are EA/DICE so that indiscriminate shooter thread had to go) I will edit the thread and remove it.

Stop Breaking NDA
