Mac version?

Any idea when the mac version will come out of the closed beta so I can start playing?

Google seems to indicate the release date is Sept 30 2010. Maybe that was when the closed beta started. Idk. I was just wondering if anyone knew seeing as Google can't seem to provide me with anything other than the date listed above.

I would join the closed beta of I could, but unfortunately I have to have windows intalled to do that, and I cannot find my Windows intall DVD. I'd hate to have to go buy windows just to play LoL
