Back when the iPhone's first started hitting the market, there was talk of an official iPhone app. This was answered by leadership saying they were not going to
CREATE an official one. However, with permission and approval of Council, I'm sure if someone made a good enough app that serves whatever purpose, weather a server browser or a forum browser, I have no doubt that if they liked it they would approve.
With that being said, I think what you're going for is a conversion of vBulletin to an iDevice app. From what I've heard, vBulletin and iOS do not get along at all. There are many bugs (As you can see from going on Safari and going on
www.edge-gamers.com) And there are many unseen errors as well as visual and functional hiccups. I am not aware that this will ever be fixed, but for now, all we can do is use either the stock Safari, or get another app, for example, Mercury, which is a firefox-like browser (Not sure if it's produced by Mozilla). It displays many websites just like firefox would, but it is a little hard to navigate.
If there is an eGO app in production, then there you go. But if you need something to view the website through your iPhone (Not sure if it's out for Android) use either Safari for easier handling and a few minor errors, or Mercury for a Firefox emulator.
