Just a few questions:

What are the best video editing software available? Can you link me?

What can you use to make a video intro?

Hope I posted in the correct forum

To Jizzle: You already have a pretty good one if you have a Mac which is IMovie and for Windows you have a pretty basic one called Windows Movie Maker.

However if you want to get more advanced you could try Sony Vegas Pro, and Adobe Premier.

P.S.
I use Adobe After Effects and Sony Vegas Pro. Works pretty good.

Appreciate the help guys. From what i've heard, After Effects and Premier seem to be the best ones. I want to start getting better with Photoshop and editing, nothing else to work on this summer.

I prefer Adobe After Effects, all my vfx buddies and I use it. the adobe forums are also great, not to mention the countless other websites catering to the AE users. Plus, there are a ton of plugins for it, making my job easier.

Adobe After Effects is good but made for a different purpose. Premier is good.
Plus Sony Vegas seems to be working out for me.

If you're on a Mac, I'd go with Final Cut Express/Pro (depending on how much you can spend on one), or just use iMovie (which comes with all Macs - aka "free")

But since most gamers aren't Mac users…

^^ What they said

In my CHANNEL you ll find all Vids are generated with SONY VEGAS PRO 10 - 12 and Photoshop . Vegas is very easy and has lots of good stuff plus Tuts on youtube to learn from .

Here is what I use.

Adobe Premier Pro
Adobe After Effects
Cinema 4D

I'm a big advocator for using Premiere. Easy to use, magnetic timelines, great flexibility for exporting, and handles basically any format.

I use Final Cut Pro 7/X and Avid Media Composer 6, but they're pricey... Idk how serious you are about getting one

Adobe Premier Pro CS6, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer are the professional ones and a good pro consumer one is sony vegas pro.
