Horrible ping.

Ok, recently out of no where, within the last week, my ping has randomly shot up from 40 to 150-200 and stayed there on eGO servers.

Have we made any server changes? Or is it on my end?

I haven't seen any changes from my end with regards to ping. Have you tried checking your modem, possibly rebooting it.

I've had a few ping/lag spikes here and there (especially on high school). Mine hasn't been consistent like Sequel's though.

Try going to http://www.speedtest.net/ and running a test on the server closest to where you live, Post the image of the results.

I recently had a problem with ping. I found out that I had a virus that was eating up half of my upload speed. My ping normally is 15-50 depending on which server of ours I'm in. But I was having 250+ ping.

If you have multiple computers on your network, try doing the speedtest Microwolf suggested on each computer, but only having THAT computer turned on. Easier to narrow it down to which computer is causing the problem.

I had this problem yesterday. My ping stayed above 100 until late at night. I don't know why it suddenly spiked like that since I've had zero ping issues on our servers until this incident.

Your issue sounds like it was simply a factor of everyone in your area consuming internet resources, causing the game to lag.
