I really hope this isn't just a rehash of of Star Wars Galaxies. I was never a fan of that game. Hopefully this one will be different.
 
Thought about it but i don't think i will get it till the initial price drops, cause all these new games seems to be fads. :P
 
Looks cool, but we'll see. Frankly paying to play doesn't help the prospect of me getting it.
 
If done right, this game will be EPIC. However I fear it wear off quickly (see BulletStorm, Brink, APB), and this is coming from a serious Star Wars fan (played them all and actually have 2 Star Wars tattoos, plus a computer room full of toys). Only time will tell, til then, I have my fingers crossed.

Agree. Not that I'm flamming or anything cus it would be great to have a decent SW game because we haven't had one in years. I'm a huge fan, but unfortunately the game doesn't offer much that of a traditional mmo. GW2 is going to be groundbreaking though in my opinion :P Us fans should be waiting for BattleFRONT3
 
I have already pre ordered the game. As for joining the eGO guild I already got a few RL friends that want to create a guild together, I may try to get them to join eGO instead because eGO guild will be more populated I suspect, my only worry with some friends is the rules in the organization that I dont think they would adhere to (ie language) but I am not sure. Either way I would still want to play the game with fellow eGO members!

And if this is game ends up in FPSX I suspect I will be switching divisions! Star Wars will surely steal all my TF2 time if its as good as my friend told me in Beta.
 
Darn monthly fees. And it only runs on Windows. If it weren't for those monthly fees, I'd install Windows and play it.

I'm still all for a Star Wars division though.
 
We need more mmo's. Instead of adding a Star Wars division why don't you combine a bunch of mmo's into an MMO division. WIN?
 
I hope this is actually as awesome as it looks. If so, it's going to consume a bunch of my free time when it's released.

No. It's not. You have to purchase the game, and more or less they'll give you one month of free subscription with it. After that, you're probably going to have to pay monthly, tri-monthly, or semiannually for your subscriptions, about $15/mo with discounts for the longer subscription plans.

Theres a program they were talking about that will make it run on Mac
