Hey i am in desprete need of help please add me on steam so i can talk to u and get help that way. By the way my problem i beleive is that i just bought a laptop and downloaded steam and my games and for example css will launch then there will be no servers listed try to join a friend says it isnt responding. please help...

Ensure your firewall isn't blocking the connection.

Also try deleting ur clientreg.blob from your steam folder and restart steam and let it update!

usually fixes most problems!

i tried both things neither fixed my problem i have been playing though because i found out i could just use console to connect to games but i still have no favorites or find servers if u can help this problem please give me a tip if not i will just use console thanks.

add gorebane1967 to your steam friends. I think I know how to fix this. Either way, I can tinker until I get it.

lol, just kidding...try logging out of Steam, Log back in. It sounds like you have no connection to the Steam Cloud. It does sound like something is blocking access.

I had a problem where I would start CSS and it would say "server is not responding" or something like that, I have to restart my router and it fixes my problem, just unplug for 5-10 seconds and then plug it back in
