After seeing the graphics and the odd movement of the soldiers, I'm not sure I'm getting it. I'm hoping a demo comes out for it.

There really aren't.

Right, not counting Battlefield 3, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Diablo 3, Skyrim, MW3, Batman Arkham City, Halo 4, GoW3, Dead Island? That's not even naming all of them and most of them having both a very anticipated single player and decent multi-player, vice versa, or both.

My oh my look at all the console games/ports. Also, MW3.

Of course you're operating under the assumption that RO:2 will somehow be an inferior product.

There have been plenty of great console games? I don't know where you got the fact that console games/ports are not as great games as PC only? And MW3? MW2 was great, bunch of people got mad over the fact that there were no dedicated servers for it, I didn't care, I had the same amount of fun as any other game and I will be buying MW3 when it comes out. I hate WW1/WW2 shooters no matter what anybody says.

I agree with you on MW2, it got a lot of unnecessary hate for the dedicated servers thing. MW3 on the other hand appears to have suffered greatly from the Infinity Ward schism. This time around it really does look like they are just cranking out the same game as last time...of course that's what happens when you're given almost zero development time.

Also at its basic mechanics a war based shooter is just like any other war based shooter. You play enough of them and you begin to understand that it doesn't matter if it WWII, Vietnam, or Modern Era they're pretty much the same...

Anyway, this thread is about RO:2. This game is built from the ground up for PC gaming and is pretty much the only shooter coming out this year that was developed that way, other than Hard Reset. It's the kind of game that requires a keyboard to play simply because of the game complexities. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you're interested in PC gaming and the spirit of PC gaming...you should probably be interested in RO:2.

I'm very interested but I don't know. The 20% discount is tantalizing.
