Quake, Rage, Fallout & Skyrim items coming to tf2!!

Thats right, in yesterday's patch 4 new promo items were added.

The Original (A Rocket launcher that was the model for the soldiers rocket launcher in the original tf2 mod)

The Tamrielic Relic (A Heavy Hat thats based off the promo artwork/videos for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim)

Anger (A sniper hat/misc that looks like something some guy wears in Brink.)

The Wingstick (a propeller tied to a rope, based off of rage. wat.)

And lastly, a Pip-Boy! (The badass pda wrist thingy from fallout games for the engineer, it replaces the build/destroy pda and gives it a new Pip-Boy hud thing.)


AWESOME.



Oh Also, there were Red Orchestra 2 items added on tuesday.

The Stahlhelm (A new soldier hat)

And The Pilotka (A new heavy hat)

For the Red Orchestra 2 items, just pre order it before august 30th and you get them in genuine quality. No news on how to get the other ones though.

Im hoping its tied to the DLC that came out today. Im redownloading Brink atm so I can buy the DLC and find out

Luckily it only takes about an hour on my work connection, getting 1.5Mb/sec from Steam. Makes my home connection jealous

I just got a Genuine Anger when I fired up TF2. Looks like you just have to own Brink, or possibly have pre-ordered it? I pre-ordered via Steam.

Haven't done anything with the DLC yet so I don't believe it's related other than timing.

I have both of the RO2 hats from pre-ordering. I pre-ordered sky rim and own new vegas on my 360 :/ So looks like I won't be getting those hats. I also almost pre-ordered Rage, until they pushed back release. Not sure if I want to pick it up or not, it looks awesome, but I don't want to be let down

Valve also added Mask of the Shaman for pre-ordering From Dust before August 17th (Got that one as well)

Wat. Brink has no bad guys. Both sides are fighting for legitimate causes.
I do believe you mean "A sniper hat that looks like the Anger headgear for the Resistance in Brink"
If anything, the security looked kind of evil before the game came out.


This makes me wish my brother didn't tie me down by also wanting Skyrim, Brink, and FO:NV and buying them on the 360.
