Console issues

i got 2 problems i need help with. When i bring down console, and hit any key, the console closes. Any idea what causes that? and there fore i cannot check or use my admin, i dont even kno if i have it. (any key i press closes console, i cant type in more then one key!?)

Your issue is that you have your keyboard set to something other than US.

Go to Start-->Control Panel-->Regional and Language-->[Languages tab]-->Details-->Select "English (United States) US" on the drop down menu.
