I love how the crowd gets so excited like they have never seen an elder scrolls before. It made me want to play it even more. Lol

Todd: "Well it IS running on Xbox 360"
Crowd: "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
Todd: "That is the EXACT response I expected -_-"

That was funny

Well yeah, noone wants to see an amazing graphical engine and original pc title be ran on the lowest specification system "not including the wii of course." Thats like when crysis came out as the nvidia benchmark game, and being shown on an xbox. Just doesnt make sence. And also adding... Its quakecon.. Lmao, noone at a quakecon is going to vote a console over pc.

Only really new exciting thing in this was the Black Hand/Dark Brotherhood being confirmed, the best guild from Oblivion.

Best guild from all the elder scrolls! And agreed Carmine, right when I saw the hand, I smiled. :)

Sequine, my mother. "THE BLACK HAND!"

I think the Imperial Cult from Morrowind may have been close.

I actually never messed with them. I've stuck with TDB ever since daggerfall. Which by the way I need to figure out how to play without a dosbox. :(

if the game looks that amazing on a console, the pc version will make most games today look fake :D

Oblivion with its high res pack and infinite draw distance makes todays games look fake

never been much of an elder scrolls person. I got frustrated with oblivion and quit pretty early in especially when I loaded my backpack down and became stuck and couldnt figure out how to empty it

Shift + Click on PC, couldn't you have just looked that up with Google?

I finally did get it to work but afterwards I found the gameplay to be very dull and boring. Lots and lots of walking around. The game itself was glitchy and the combat was stuttering and boring. I also hated how the characters were motionless and lifeless when you talked to them.

Also I found that the first person combat view was awkward at best. Would have liked there to have been a third person combat view.

I have heard that skyrim improves on all these issues in Oblivion and I may give it an honest chance but I hope there is a demo to try it first because as it stands I cant see spending money on this. Much better games out there on the horizon to look forward to and spend money on.

There is a fast travel. And there is a 3rd person combat view...

There are also unofficial mods that fix all the glitches. In Skyrim talking to NPCs goes on in real time and they have improved the combat system.

You can shift+click? I always just held down the mouse button on it until it would appear floating in front of me.

Nice, Skyrim stuff, Dark Brotherhood, but, on an unrelated note, I'm still getting it on the 360 :o

so for the exception of like one things everything you hated about oblivion was fixable in oblivion, plus although i enjoyed oblivion alot many people liked morrow wind better

I enjoyed Oblivion more than Morrowind, but i love morrowind as well. I played the absolute crap out of those 2 games. Imo, the combat was great, it wasn't buggy or awkward at all to me. I enjoy walking around the world and attacking towns, finding caves, and just exploring. Tbh, i enjoyed the base game (no mods) more than i did when i had the mods with it. But thats just me.

If it was fixable it wasnt fixed yet when I borrowed the game and tried it out so all in all it was still pretty much broken when i was playing it. No need to be jumping down someone throat when they are stating their own views and experiences of playing the game when it was first released and not many patches or fixes were out yet...

Not out to bash the game I just want to know whats with all the hype around it. Its getting a lot more hype and expectations and people talking about it than Oblivion ever did.
