Hello again, everyone! Toastado here with some advice. I've been noticing lately that when I start to play in the morning, some of the servers are empty. So, I go on and I'll invite people and I'll steam chat them to get them to play on the server I'm trying to fill. It doesn't always work, and it doesn't always fill the server. BUT at least I try. I've also noticed that there are tons of people, even tons of eGO members, on my friends list who play DoD:S and love the server I'm trying to fill, who just WON'T TRY TO FILL THEM. They won't play unless they're full. No names, but many times, I've had many different eGO's tell me "get 6 people there and I'll play". And while this may not seem like a bad thing, It's very bad. However, it is much worse when someone says (and I've actually had an eG say this to me before) "Get it nearly full and I'll play). THIS is horrible. It's very hard to get a server started when everyone says "get 6 people and I'll play". If no one will play on a server with less than 6 people, then unless they were already full, no one will ever play the server.
My advice?
1. Play on servers, even if they're empty. It doesn't matter how many people are there, YOU CAN GET MORE TO COME!
2. Invite people while you're playing on the server. And when you invite them, talk to them on steam chat, too. Say things like "come play on this server it needs to be filled" or something like that.
3. If someone else invites you to come play on an empty eGO server, DO IT! Don't just say" I'll play when there are more people"
4. If there is a HUGE problem with filling that server, say something on the forums. Start a new thread and say "*INSERT SERVER HERE* needs to be filled more often" (example: Flash Friday. We needed Flash to be filled more often, so some smart member came up with Flash Friday.).
