We had a problem with name changers not to long ago changing their name to my name =(e)= Rebel and stuff so if I join the game with a admin I will talk on the microphone they did not talk on the mic so ill let you know who I am and I did not get the name of the name changer i think it was oliver who is in there now in the Kalt server

I saw the same sort of activity today at around 12:15 EST. in Kalt as well. I noticed that it too happened when Oliver// came in.
There was a player 'Scumbag' and when Oliver came in there was another player named 'Scumbag' but it wasn't Oliver, he was still there as well. The real Scumbag was asking who the other player was.
Of course no one knew.
Is there an advantage to doing that? What is funny about that? Why not just play the game at hand?
My 2 cents anyway...

I used to live in Lyndhurst which is the town next to Mayfield Heights. Had a lot of friend in Mayfield. I am actually in Medina now. Are you from Cleveland/have family there?
If you are in eGO, no one is to change their name unless permitted by Council, and normally, only e's can do it, as we'd like to be able to recognize the admins. If they have that tag, they are to keep the name they signed up with on the recruitment form. No changes.

i agree it is a very immature thing to do ive had it done to me a few times but aswell as that they uasally mic spam heaps under my name i hate it i just leave the server when it happens to me or to others
mabey we should conside bans, if not permanent than mabey just temp bans from our servers
we have to try and stop these childish people their making the game less fun for all of us

Guys, please keep the same names. If you want a name change then make sure to get permission for it.
Also, you should have gotten the imposters ID. One of our server rules is to keep only one name on our servers. No worry this time because it might've been your first time. Next time if you know how to talk to admin privatly (which is all-talk
and @ then space) then please tell them to do they're job on the server.

I don't think they are asking about changing their name, but rather someone who keeps coming into the servers impersonating clan members. If you see it happen again, get a screenshot of their steamID using your name or tell an admin on the server that someone is impersonating you with the admin chat, which i think was mentioned before as opening team chat and then typing

I never change my name. This happened to another eGO member who had someone else take their name in the Kalt server. I was not aware of how to chat to an admin with using '@ ' in all-chat. I will do that from now on. Thank you everybody for your help.

yes please keep your names also if some one in the server changes their name to your i.e. john doe changes his name to =(eG)=™TaKe[S|R] keep in mind eGO is trade marked so grab the steam id and call an admin

Try to remember the guy name, time of the offense, then look him up on stat page. You can even grab his steam ID there and make a request ban ^__^
