Hey, my friend is selling his computer. I need to know if the specs meet the price.

Specs:
- 4 gigs of RAM
- NVIDA GeForce 8800 gts
- 600 Watt Power supply
- 2x 200 mm fan/120mm fan
- MSI Platinum Motherboard
- 6600 2.40 GHz Intel Pentium Dual Core processor
- with Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit

This is directly from him, if you need to know anything else I can find it out.

He is selling it for roughly $400.00

Thanks for your help! :)

-4 gigs of RAM (probably DDRII, so ~$40)
- NVIDA GeForce 8800 gts (depending on model, 512=$50, 320/640=$45)
- 600 Watt Power supply (since brand isn't listed, it probably isn't anything special, so ~$20)
- 2x 200 mm fan/120mm fan (probably don't add much to overall price)
- MSI Platinum Motherboard (MSI had many platinums, so between 40 and $100)
- 6600 2.40 GHz Intel Pentium Dual Core processor ($40)
- with Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit ($40 assuming OEM 32bit is kinda a bummer)

by my calculations it is worth about $300 at best assuming it has a case, ~$340, at worse, looking at like $260

Yea i wouldn't pay more than that, maybe $360 since it is a friend, but that is kinda pushing it.

It's a pretty good deal Scott, although you might want to consider changing it to 64 bit.

To me, that's not worth it.

I Sold my PC for $400 and the specs were (Compared to what your getting

Specs:
- 4 gigs of RAM 8 gb
- NVIDA GeForce 8800 gts 9800 GTX OCC
- 600 Watt Power supply 750
- 2x 200 mm fan/120mm fan same
- MSI Platinum Motherboard same
- 6600 2.40 GHz Intel Pentium Dual Core processor 2.8 dual
- with Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit 64-Bit

it also had

Creative XFi XtremeGamer Sound Card

I also sold this machine almost 2 years ago. I was "slightly" generous with the price though, i HAD to get rid of it though, unfortunately.

Also, not just the price, but the product you are getting, then i don't think its worth it at all. If you buy that you are going to be upgrading it very soon. so you might as well spend a little bit more, and get a machine that's twice as good.
