I hate mondays.

So I was on my way home to get my retainer because my teeth shifted this morning and I needed to get my retainer in ASAP so all the work my braces did wouldn't be in vain. I was about 200 miles or so southeast of my house and headed back to my house.

I was about half-way home at my old college (I switched colleges this year between semesters because my grades weren't to great) where after filling up my gas tank I decide to take a right just after I got a funny felling NOT to go right.

Literally a minute later I was turning left across an intersection and the light changed from green, to yellow, and when I glanced back up just as I was hitting the gas it changed to red. Then all of the sudden from my right comes a Nissan Sentra running the red and nails me in my passenger door. T-boned. No other witnesses stayed so it's my word against the other guys.

The man and passengers in the other car ALL lacked driver's licences on thier persons, but the driver and owner did have his registration and insurance with him.
The passenger in the back seat was arrested for a county and city warrant, and the other two left after gving thier version of events.

I go to pick up the Police report this Thursday and I hope they believe an Eagle Scout of the BSA (me) over a couple of no good men. Please pray for me.

I am uninjured though, so God did bless me in that respect.

After the accident I waited on campus and found some of my friends to talk to while my dad made the two hour drive from work to pick me up. God also blessed me by allowing me to see each of the friends that I had wronged before I had transfered schools and I talked to each of them and I am going to hang out with them on March 15 (my birthday). So maybe this day wasn't all for nothing.

I've had too many friends die in car accidents and though I do not know you it's good to know that you made it.

I don't want to suggest or say your opinion is wrong, but life is not short. Life is the longest thing that happens well in our lives. That's one of the most pessimistic things i have known, and i'm pretty optimistic. So next time you say that, think about what you just said. BTW good luck again jester, try to keep us updated.

yeah, its your story against the other. i gotta say if you managed to get your car to move sideways so your passenger door struck the front of his vehicle, then major props. plus, with modern technology, they should be able to construct a timeline for the light's colors at the time of the accident. trust me, they'll know whose story to believe. glad to hear you're ok though, thats the most important part!
