Macbook Pro and DoDs

[Silent Drifter]

Recently I have noticed while playing on the eGO event servers ONLY for DoDs, that all the audio in-game has this mickey mouse-sound to them and it sounds like a dial-up modem is going off in the background. It will continue this for 5 min or so then crash back to the desktop. Like I said this only happens on the eGO event servers and not on any of the public servers.

My Macbook Pro is an early2011 i7quad core 2ghz with 8gb mem and a AMD Radeon HD 6490M

New problem, my Day of Defeat folder is not showing. Game is installed but is not showing in the Library/Application Support/Steam/SteamApps/email address/Day of Defeat

Anybody have a solution for this?
