Want Every Bethesda Game They'll Ever Make?

So what happens when the kid is a teenager or whatever, "Hey Dad, how did you pick out my name?" "I got bribed with free video games" "Oh.."

How will they know the kid actually exists :P Someone could just claim it and make a Birth Certificate on Photoshop and send a photo of a fake kid :P

Seriously, am I the only one that noticed this mistake? I mean you need to get your facts straight. I mean its great if theyre gonna give away free games, but its a waste of time, energy & $$ just to produce a child if theyre gonna give away free codes. Heck the codes will eventually pop up online on 1 of the many gaming code websites.

So upon further research, I found out that it is indeed free games. Vexx please post your info correctly in the future. I also adjusted the spelling of the name.

Uh, wouldn't it just be a 1 time redeemable code like all other codes?

This. I'm not sure Bethesda is THAT serious about this when they obviously know people can just photofake it. And will they actually bother calling the archives to verify with every single applicant? I don't think so.

But awesome idea nonetheless. If I was told by me parents I was named because we could get free games, I would be okay... as long as the games are good. And they're fricking Bethesda games, so I would be totally okay with it.

And when you think about it, I've seen stranger names than that. I mean, there's a kid named Spatula out there.

As Ranthus said, I copy and pasted straight from the website, hence why I put the reference link. The bottom line was my own ten cents thrown into the thread. And it is indeed spelled "Dovahkiin" in the dragon language. Once again, copy and pasted as well.

Also, to the comments about photofaking it, I'm sure Bethesda isn't truly expecting anyone to actually name their child Dovahkiin. So this seems more of an elaborate joke than serious, but it is still pretty humorous to consider. And I'm sure one crazy TES fan will do this. We'll just have to see.

i was considering it before i was bribed...i actully think Dovahkiin sounds cool you could just shorten it to Dovah or something lol it kinda sounds skandinavian in orgin

Now im off to get a woman pregnant so i can have free video games

Challenge was for the child to be born on Skyrim's release date.
And sadly, it looks like you did not succeed in inventing time travel. Unless the alternate-timeline theory is true. Then, you still have a chance.

[Edit]
Same applies to below.
