CS:GO Hats Confirmed

I think that they are Trolling by making the CS hat jokes at Valve too.

There's already 1 hat simulator on Steam. That's enough forever. Keep your hats.

Trololol.

Man you guys are gullible. Did you know that the sky is green and phones are made with tin cans and string?

The sky is actually not any color at all. We see blue during the day because that is the only spectrum of light that gets throu...........*head explodes*

There won't be any hats in the game. CS:S doesn't have characters like TF2 does, it has no element of comedy or even slight humour. It just wouldn't fit. Maybe small things like customizable armour and stuff at most, but not tophats and crap like that.

Agreed. Although I'm positive there will be hats based on CS:GO added TF2.

I can't see there actually being hats. It doesn't match. If they do hats they need to change what you wear too. Example: Top hat, give him a tux etc. But I don't really see them doing hats. I see something more along the lines of Rainbow Six. Hope someone here has at least played that -_-

Which Rainbow Six? I only played Vegas and Vegas 2, and I'm pretty sure most real fans of R6 would try to kill me over the internet for saying that.

I've played just about every Tom Clancy game. :)
I've played a number of them. I started on Rainbow Six Critical Hour for online and Raven Shield for single player. I own Vegas 1/2. I've always liked how that was done as far as customization. Though it would be nice if they have two load outs, one for T and one for CT if they were to implement a similar system. But, yes that would mean they would have to add a ranking type of a system. But I suppose it being Valve, they could keep to the kill X amount with Y weapon to unlock Z.

Nah, I think it's silly to hate someone who only has played a recent version of a game in a series. Some people don't hear of it until a later game, or don't even get into gaming until a later date. Most fans of any series should be happy and welcome anyone new regardless of skill, because it's more chaff to kill and keeps the population up. A lot of people play games based off of how many other players play it. Sorry for that tangent XD

I like the suit idea. It adds customization so as to add a touch of uniqueness to a character without having armies running around with HATS. :P

I don't mind it much in TF2, but there again I started playing after a number of thw weapons were out. I've never really played straight-up, just-shipped vanilla TF2. In some respects, I rely on the newer weapons. It adds a fresh twist, however I don't think it would fit well with CS:S or sit well with the community. Hopefully the game is made and 3 days later there isn't a patch with more weapons.

I think we all just need to wait and see what CS:GO is all about. It could be more like BF and add destruction (but most maps are too small for that and there aren't many buildings you can enter in the first place), or more like TF2 with character customization (which could lead to making the game TOTALLY unrealistic and lowering the experience, or maybe even put a touch of both BF and CoD and adding iron sights (which would please me to no end and make the game so much more believable). All the ways it could go, I think it is too early to predict. As long as its a decent game, I'll get and play it at some point.
