Alright, Well my desktop i bought in 2005-2006, right now i installed windows xp prof recently, and it's having trouble multitasking stuff, do you think if i put a new video card in it , it could multi task better, or should i just save my money and buy a new tower, p.s. NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS, is my gfx card.

Don't put money into an ancient PC. Yup you hate what I said. You paid good money in 2005 and can't believe it's time to spend another $800+..... Maybe some parts of your PC are reusable, but MOBO, CPU, MEMORY have changed dramatically.
Putting another card into the PC isn't going to help it multitask. That pulls from various things like the RAM and HDD speed.
Save money and put together a new PC or buy a stock one from a company. Building it yourself, you can put together a low end gaming PC for about 800-1000 dollars.
