yea, they make the 2 inch lowering kit for the vulcan 2000 also (which is what i have). But these bikes already sit low to the ground. 2 inches lower and I'd scrape also.

And yes, these bikes are big. But I would not say slow. I've had mine over 150mph, and still had throttle left...

My CBR900RR had a single sided swingarm off of a VFR750 (See first post for pics)

My Z1000 though, there is only one person in the world with a single sided swingarm, and it was all custom - he didn't talk price, but he said thousands upon thousands of dollars.

What they do have is a nice 240 Tire rear swingarm which would be sweet .. but .. if I were to dump that kinda money into my bike, I'd probably just trade it in for a Diavel which already comes with a single swingarm, and a 240 tire.

R.I.P Marco Simoncelli (20 January 1987 - 23 October 2011)

He passed away today after he was involved in a horrific crash in the MotoGP race in Malaysia. For those who didn't watch MotoGP, he was a very talented rider @ 24 years old, and was one of the few who kept the MotoGP races interesting. He will be truly missed.

A sad day for the MotoGP, that's for sure

Also, I ride a 1986 Honda Xl600r. It runs when it feels like it, but once it gets going it's a nice little dual sport.

Thats me riding my dirtbike at a local track. I broke my shoulder almost 2 years before this and just recently was told i could ride again. So sorry if im slow. lol im gonna post a new video after this weekend on it.

Honda CR 125 2 stroke. :D

I've had a few bike in my life, starting with a Honda CT-70 back in 5th grade. Anyway, I just sold her back in May when I realized the impending birth of my child would mean I'd get to ride her all of 1-day a week and 2-months in the summer. *le sigh*

1998 Suzuki VS800GL Intruder

She's a drag bike, so she's very quick to 80, but nothing much over that. No chicken strips on this bike...both the Kuryakyn highway pegs and the stock pegs were ground down. She had no problem pulling the front wheel up and keeping it there, either. Not what you expect from a cruiser.

I had an upgraded Mustang Wide Touring seat--the stock pillion made my wife's butt numb after about 20 minutes. I also had gutted Cobra drag pipes, a Garmin Zumo 550, and a few other aftermarket addons.

Im looking into getting a bike just not sure what exactly I want. I've been looking at cbr 600rr for a very long time, just waiting to find "the one" ive been watching craigslist, dealers and everywhere else bikes are sold! what are your opinions for a "starter" bike?


Im not completely new to riding ive just been away from it for a couple years :'( . I use to ride, 250's,and cr 500's all the time.

My Yamaha Virago 535. I'm a Learner Rider which means there are engine size restrictions, and power to weight ratio's.

And my trike (kiddie killer). Still looks good since its from the 80's
 
I bought the '90 ZX-6 new, then modified it for several years. Hindle exhaust, K&N airfilter, V&H ignition advancer, Progressive fork springs, steel braid brake lines, and removed rear fender and center-stand. It saw the track once in Montreal and I even got to drive it on the Gilles Villenueve Grand_Prix race track before they closed it to the public. This '06 ZX10R I bought with a 1000 km on it from an airline pilot. I immediately went to E-Bay and bought about $2000 of carbon fiber to make it pop. I've installed a K&N type airfilter, rebuilt the exhaust for straight-through airflow, brake lines, and fender removal round out the mods.
