CS:S Crosshair problem

So, I got this script, which changes your crosshair color when you shoot, but ONLY switches to one color, and then it switches back to its original color.


I came on today, finding out its changing with all the crosshair colors.


Is their any way for me to disable this script?


I tried deleting my Models, and materials folder, and my cstrike folder.

Its still there.


(if you are wondering why I posted here, instead of the tech help forums, is because this is a config problem, and I think Its not really "techinical")

... Did you try deleting the script itself? I'll talk to you in vent in a few minutes and sort this out. Best case, I can make a clientside console command to enable/disable the script for you

Deleting the script itself, as Officer-Pie said, should fix the problem you have, as it's the SCRIPT that's enabling this.

Find where you put the script in. Do you have any idea where?

Just delete your autoexec.cfg file, that should do it.

most likely it is in your cstrike folder and in there it is probably in materials or models, look around and find out where you saved it and delete the file that you added.

This is why don't use scripts....

Go to your cstrike folder, then go to the scripts folder. Then delete everything in that folder. If that doesn't work, look for a .txt folder in the main cstrike folder and DELETE it. Try that.
