Ever since I started playing cs:s I have been playing in directx 8.1 since it gives me the most fps due to a crappy gfx card. Today I tried to play in directx 9 and for some reason it forces my resolution to be 1360x768. If I try to change my resolution to anything else, the game minimizes and doesn't come back up. Anybody have any ideas how can I can fix this issue?

Have you ensured your DirectX drivers are up to date?
