One-Stop Everything You Need To Know About BF3 (and eGO's plan) -Continuously Updated

That's interesting with the vehicle health regeneration. *patiently waits for dent on car to heal*

No but seriously, vehicles in my opinion should not regenerate health. I mean humans in the game already regenerate health like Wolverine, so why should vehicles do the same? (Unless the tanks and cars have mutated to have such regenerative powers):glare:

the regenerating vehicles thing is an option that can be disabled in server options like friendly fire and stuff

I now kind of hope you can turn off the bloom like in BC2, because it can get a little disorientating

Vehicles only regenerate LIGHT damage, so anything drastic and it won't regenerate.

Who needs a Gustav when you have the SMAV (handheld bunker buster). Please set up the servers for instant spawn of vehicles that way you have less people blowing up vehicles (the previous pilot/driver are still dead and haven't spawned yet) and you end up rotating vehicles to new people so everyone gets to fly and drive the vehicles. I would be willing to bet most of the top BC2 servers have instant vehicle spawn set up.

I dont mind that, it will make people work harder on their kits, will separate the boy from the men lol

It'll also mean that you'll have put a bit more thought into your kit/player selection and what squad you're part of.

I started as a recon, and got that up a bunch of points until I had a decent selection of weapons and scopes to choose from depending on the map, and what I wanted to achieve. That took a couple days of playing.

I then took the assault, and only played as that until I built up those points, to where I've unlocked all but the last weapon.

Then it was as a medic (which I'm still using), and have just unlocked the 4x sight (which likely won't get used much).

My point though, is other than the sniper with the basic scope, the starting kits weapons and sights really blow. I had a heck of a time using and sticking with the medic until I got the red dot sight. Now I enjoy it. I expect the engineer will be the same. Very painful to start with.

I think it's great news. Gives you something to work for. In BC2 you unlock everything by level 20.

true, I unlocked everything by that level also and then it became kinda boring not having anything to play for except for a rank. Nice to see the EA is really thinking smart here.

Medic is the easiest to move up in, just find a good stop and reviving people. I found the toughest to be recon which took me the longest. I play mostly as an engineer because I think its very well balanced. The UZI is as deadly as any assault gun and having an RPG gives you some protection against vehicles as well. Most of the upgrades are just for the name of it but some like megnum ammo really make a difference.

EA has nothing to do with it. They just pay for the game to be made. To level up in BF2 was quite a task (after hundreds and hundreds of hours I got to Master Sergeant I believe) and hopefully It's the same way with BF3.
