eGO Live Stream System Testing

Hello,

EdgeGamers will be introducing a new live streaming system in the upcoming weeks.

In a nutshell, this system will allow community members to associate their eGO forum account with several popular live streaming services. With this information, we can then determine who is currently streaming in our community and present this through all through our website in a customized system.

We would like to invite a handful of community members to try out the system initially and provide feedback on its functionality. We also need assistance with writing guides to help other members setup their accounts and use the system.

If you feel you meet the following qualifications, please reply to this thread:

1. 18 years or older (see note below).
2. Posesses a modern gaming PC and fast internet connection capable of high-quality streaming.
3. Willing to help work on user guides for the system. (Good writers and graphics assistance would be greatly appreciated!)
4. Willing to provide feedback about the system.
5. Willing to let the world watch (and laugh at) your terrible aim in the servers.

Since initial testers will be focused on public-facing guides for the system, we need to ask that testers in this round are at least 18 years of age. Once the guides are squared away, we will be able to open up testing to more people and work from there.

I can't help with the testing due to the fact that I don't meet the age requirements at this time, sadly. Though I can say, I'm very excited to see that we're working on a system like this.

How long have you been with eGO? I rejoined 3 months ago but I have been active on the website and servers for just under 3 years.

How many hours do you spend gaming on weekends? Weeknights? My schedule varies due to different amounts of volunteering at the rescue squad and class load at University, but once I get settled in at school at the end of the month you can expect 6 hours on weekends and 2-3 hours every other week night.

How many hours would you be able to stream approximately during a typical gaming session? 2-3 hours

What is your internet connection speed? 3Mbps down and .75Mbps up at home.
I'm not sure of the connection speed at university but it is plenty fast.

Do you have strong writing or graphic design abilities that you can contribute towards this effort? I have relatively strong writing skills.

What is your internet connection speed? 10Mbps DL and 4-5Mbps Upload
