Hello, today i realized that my new computer has a plug in for a heaphone but it doesnt have a plug in for a Microphone, if u know anyway that i can do to make my mic work plz help me.

Only way is said above or to locate a another jack. A red one.

Are you sure it doesn't have a microphone jack? 100% of all computers I've seen do.

You must be mistaken, every computer has to have a jack for audio and mic, unless you made it at home from scrap metal.

thank you guys for ur support and yes iam sure it doesnt have, i checked at least 3 times.

Isn't that the front of your computer?

If so, the back should have a Green (headphone/speaker) & Pink/Red (Microphone) connection.

For anyone curious, Jean uploaded the picture to his/her profile.

i have a green yellow and pink/red but when i tryed them they didnt work :/

Green one is for your headphones, pink one is for your mic. There are lots of other things to check besides plugging it in. You have to make sure your mic is set as the default recording device in Windows. You need to make sure the mic volume is set correctly. You need to make sure the mic is setup correctly in whatever application you are trying to use it with(Steam, Vent, games, etc). Either way, you have answered your own question. You have a pink 1/8" female jack which is where your mic plugs in.
