Dubstep Opinions?

I just recently got into Dubstep about two months ago when I saw Big Chocolate at Warped Tour (where we had a Dub mosh pit. It was odd, yet fitting) and have found it to be quite the perfect genre for me; being both a metalhead and electro fan. My favorite artists so far are Skrillex, Ephixa, and GoingQuantum on youtube, because they all have really heavy drops and quite a violent feel to them. I am however less impressed by dubstep from Deadmau5 (I didn't even know he made dubstep tracks) which has a lighter less violent feel.

So what is your opinion on Dubstep as a whole, who are your favorite artists, and do you find moshing to be appropriate in a dubstep setting?

On a slightly unrelated note. I find it slightly funny how 50s-70s sci-fi movies depicted music and dancing of the 21st century being electric and shrill in a fashion very similar to Dubstep.

This make me kill everybody in jail...

I'm not a big fan of dubstep. Most of it seems like a bunch of random noise to me

I really like trance though, but I like the bass that dubstep has. I ended up stubbling on an artist named Blackmill, I don't know if you've heard of him, but he makes dubstep-trance songs that are amazing. He calls it Chillstep =)

My opinion on dubstep:

Tribal techno. To me it sounds like if you gave a tribe a synthesizer (or some other kind of electric instrument) and watch them go nuts with it along with their other instruments like drums.

I gotta agree on the Bare Noize remix of Kill Everybody (Its a lot better), that Borgore track on the front page sounded...odd. It sounded like a pig to me, that thought was so distracting I can't enjoy the track :/.

I didn't like that Chris Brow remix either, but thats mostly because I can't stand Chris Brown (or any other "modern rap" artist besides eminem, dre, jay-z, and sometimes a little snoop)

Blackmill is OK, but its not really my thing. Eyes On Fire sounded like Blackmill, so the same goes for that.
Everything else is great though.

That is a brutally epic description

ALSO

What is with this whole "Skrillex isn't dubstep" thing? I looked up the argument and it seems to be completely based upon how the guy dresses.....wtf?
