Pretty interesting to see the gameplay footage, live commentary in 4 separate languages along with live stats during the match. Anyone else interested in Valve's new product?

Think of it as an alpha test, I've been following it, The games basically to the point the point where DoTA was plus a lil. What better way to alpha test a sequel then to take the best teams from the original and pit them against each other?

Probably cause the Dota 2 prize bot is 50 Times larger then the LoL Intel Tourney and had around 2.8 Million Concurrent viewers to LoL's like 100k. Also the LoL commentators are like robots compared to Dota 2's ( The English ones atleast).

When the first time you show the public a game is through a stream of course you are going to have a ton of viewers. The only thing the public had before was a few pieces of art and then a cinematic trailer a day(?) before the actual stream.

Oh, and not everyone likes to have people unnecessarily yelling at the top of their voices over every single teamfight and gank. I will take a "robot" over that crap any day, but to each their own.

But as I've seen in different threads discussing this...
It may be possible that once LoL finally gets spectator-mode
we might be seeing better commentators in the future.

Tasteless, Totalbiscuit, an Day 9 are all awesome. But Phreak and Rivington III are pretty good too. Also, TB does some LoL shoutcasting on his own games then puts them up on his channel, sooo
