Who else felt that Earthquake?

I live in Chester, Virginia, not 30 miles away from the earthquake, and it wasn't bad. Woke me up from my nap though, interesting experience though. Could use another one to help organize my mess of books though.

This is funny, because the exact opposite happened to me.

My washing machine is upstairs, and on a fast spin cycle, it will sometimes shake the whole house. That was my first thought. Then I realized I wasn't washing anything. Then stuff started falling off shelves and walls.

For a place that as long as I can remember had no earthquakes it becomes quite the event. (my first earthquake) My uncle lives in California and he was like... "ok so"... :biggrin:

When you've never experienced an earthquake before, your entire house shaking violently is a frightening experience.
