will someone plz tell me how to fix my new mic? ..... i just took back my old one and this one is static too ...... plz help

Did it come with any drivers, etc? Maybe it's your sound card that's causing that bad mics?
A little more info would be great. Post your sound card, sound chipset and mic, and if it came with drivers. Update your sound drivers if at all possible. If it's a USB mic it most definitely needs the right/updated drivers.
