Easier way to get items?

Anyone have a faster, easy way of getting items. OTHER THEN IDLING.

I've been playing TF2 for around 2 years now, and acquired around 400 items in total in 300 hours of gameplay. I'm trying to be greedy but lately I've been getting nothing. I mean playing 2-3 every other day and getting no weapons is kind of a let down. :/

So if anyone could give me, some help, or tips would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't played in like 2 months, and that day I came back I found around 6-10 items.

Yeah...so many ways to make a profit on items in TF2:

1) If you want to spend some real money, spare out a couple bucks, buy some cheap keys at 2$ from reputable people, and use those keys to profit on other things. For example, some guy might need some keys ASAP and want to get rid of his Bills hat, you can try to get it for cheap, and re-sell it.

2) Go in trading servers, see how things are done. For your spare weapons, scrap bank them, any 2 weapons=1scrap, and use those metal to buy other stuff. Make sure you don't get ripped off, and make sure you RIP other people off. lol

3) IMO, it's actually not that hard acquiring any items in the game if you put your focus on it and know how to profit on trades.

Using some of these trading techniques, you should be able to get a lot of good items as long as you're patient. You will also stumble on good trades at some times, just have fun and learn overtime from traders in trading servers.

I think there is a weekly item limit. You probably hit your limit every week.
