Hope crap dude that is going way way to far to do that to the users all of it is horrible but the worst part in my sees is this right here "EA reserves the right to share all of this information with any third party, including law enforcement agencies" thats just not cool...

Not any different really than any other publishers EULA. If people read through them they would know this.

EDIT: Also, all your ISPs have the same policies. But just like EA they will never enforce them except in extreme circumstances. The public outcry and PR disaster would bankrupt them. Steam has similar policies and never enforce them either.

well If You did DOCS the EA servers they will have rights to give the infomration to law enforcement agencies. they will keep your information for security reason.

All I hear is Waaahhhh. Everyone's so excited for the game to come out they need to have something to talk about. Probably CoD fans fearmongering with this news...

Oh please. Everywhere you go on the internet, you've got this. Every website you sign up for, every file you download... Everyone collects your data and shares it. It's a fact of life. If you don't want your data collected and shared, dump all technology, go live in a cabin in Montana, pay for everything with cash and write a manifesto.

I really don't care about sharing your computer data now to companies. I mean every time you DL a new Droid app they ask for your location and such so its the same thing in this since.

Anyway EA "may" which is a powerful word just like "if" so no one knows for sure. BF3 will come out and people will buy it. There has to be something drastic to really say "NO" so until then I still got the game on pre-order through Best Buy.

The new EULA clarifies things, but this should still be entirely optional.

New EULA:
"In addition to information that you give EA directly, EA collects nonpersonally identifiable (or anonymous) information for purposes of improving our
products and services, providing services to you, facilitating the provision of
software updates, dynamically served content and product support as well as
communicating with you. The non-personally identifiable information that EA
collects includes technical and related information that identifies your computer
(including the Internet Protocol Address) and operating system, as well as
information about your Application usage (including but not limited to successful
installation and/or removal), software, software usage and peripheral hardware.
As noted above, this information is gathered periodically for purposes such as
improving our products and services, troubleshooting bugs, and otherwise
enhancing your user experience. "

Not to concered...almost all EULAS are like this anyway, u think valves doesnty? they do they know what programs u have on ur pc how do u think u get vac banned for simply having hacking software, not all hacks go into ur game files some hacks run beside ur files and do not ever go into ur actuall game software its basically a temp plugin u can be vac banned for having that on ur pc and never using it EVER aka it has never been ran but u can still be vac banned..u know why cus valves knows

Not to mention any thing that does collect any personal data and sells it or is invasive of ur pc is illegal even if u agree to it no matter what ur rights are protected

If i wrote a contract saying if i i flip a coin and if heads u live if tails i get to shoot you and you sign it and you get tails and is shoot u...i still go to jail for murder because its still murder even though you agreed to it. If EA ever does go over the line they will be sued...and they will lose and they will stop

Yes, Valve does, but they ask you before they do it. You can also leave it off so they can't get any information.

If anyone has an android, they do the same with just about every app on the market. Anytime you use a credit/debit card your giving out tons of information. It's nothing to worry about, your rights protect it all. Also my android has every password I use like my online banking, eGO, most game sites like Ea, etc stored for easy access while I'm on the go.
