Who... cares...

You reveal more personal information on facebook than you will ever reveal by playing and buying games online... Almost every program and account you make online has those same terms and agreements. We just don't know that because we just scroll alllll the way down and check "I agree to the terms and agreements" without reading them. People are just freaking out because they read 1 stupid article about it. Apparently everyone's aiming to bring down EA or something, get over it please. Just be patient and wait for October 25th, everyone will stop QQ'ing then about things that don't matter.

You might put personal information down for sites like facebook. Question though. do those sites ask to do a full system scan on your computer? No I dont think so.

Revealing every file, your computer history is something I wouldnt want done to my computer.
 
There is nothing wring with this people... To me it seems like since this has hit news, people are finally reading "User agreements" now...

At a business standpoint I think this is a SMART thing EA is doing. There is no better way to be able to progress faster, than to know what every little detail could counteract their software.

Everyone is freaking out that their entire PC is going to be scanned and their privacy no longer exists... Really?

If that's the case, get off the internet, your ISP has been doing it since day one. Your antivirus has been doing it the day you registered it. And they arent going to scan every file, it states that IF NEED BE, its a possibility. Thats like saying your are purchasing an internet plan that goes (up to) 105mbs but you onl get 80mbs. Yes im sure they will monitor running processes, or bootup cache. other than that Your fine, this is old news, they had this issue stated back in 1995, history repeats itself.

"OMG they will know everything on my PC! im FREAKIN OUT!" ... No. I'm sure you already have close to 4 or 5 things installed that are doing this already. and again. your ISP is already doing it.

It's not like they are saving your files, posting them up on the internet, or are going to arrest you for being a pirate or having the urge to go to certain sites. Its only to allow them to know what every possibility can counteract with their software, only to progress even further in later IP's and Games.

If this made you cancel your pre-order, than you are just another pawn that has been scared from Media. This is nothing new like some have said.

And i wouldn't be surprised if this was started from CoD Players trying to save their beloved game.

Oh noess, they're gonna find out how much RAM I have in my system. Or worse... backtrace my downloaded pr0n to the cyber police!

;) Please, it's no biggie. People put their phone numbers, addresses, and personal emails on social networking sites. Don't hate

Thanks for the heads up P3N, but as you can see, we Americans have already been broken of our will to try and protect our personal information. Also, it's all out there anyway, if anyone buys it from EA they're already far behind in the game. :)

You can tell a LOT about a person just by looking at a bank statement or a few receipts.
